Quarted lengthways or if they're already cut into circles then quarter those but its more difficult for baby to grab and eat. Doesn't have to be super soft or hard - I'd serve how I'd eat them, just make sure they're not honey roasted as under 12mo they can't have honey.
Just to add, definitely doesn’t need to be unseasoned. No honey, as someone else said, but baby can absolutely have seasonings (minimal added salt is recommended). Food doesn’t have to be bland. My boy bloody loves curry (homemade and super healthy, not like a takeaway curry, before anyone comes for me!)
@Emma gagging is a completely normal and healthy response to food! and it actually helps them to learn how much food they can manage and helps them learn when to spit food out. Gagging is good x
@Macy it is but she’s early in her solid food journey and I’m not going to push her when she’s not quite ready to move onto the next level yet
