Bouts of hard belly?

Hi! The past couple of nights my belly has gone hard and had a weird feeling in it. Iv started feeling baby move like little pops and flutters but this feels like a wooosh then the bottom of my belly below my belly button goes hard? 19 weeks 5 days I’m seeing the midwife in a couple of days so I will ask her but wondering if anyone else has had this and if I should be worried

I’m 19 weeks 3 days with my third and last night I had the same and this morning, it is baby moving and maybe turning over. If you put a little pressure on the hard bit you will feel it release. Like baby is sticking his back out xx

This is baby just getting cosy closer to the surface of your tummy. They may be just hanging out/sleeping so not necessarily moving or it’s there back and moving limbs inwards so not felt the same way. Happening to me too now and last time. Definitely nothing to worry about! The uterus is only just as tall as the belly button by 20 weeks so makes sense to be feeling it at the bottom there. I like rubbing my belly/baby when I feel those harder lumps. Sometimes baby then responds and feel the movement or they move away and the lump is gone. All so normal!

I freaked out the first time i felt/saw this big hard lump in my belly but midwife reassured me it could be baby (think this was 16 wk apt). They now do it every day several times a day, i think my baby enjoys resting against the front of my belly and it happens usually at night, if i roll from my side to my back, i will wait a few minutes and eventually they push out and i can feel/see the whole of them pushing outward. I just wait a few minutes for them to settle down and then i’ll turn back onto my side :) its weird at first but now i quite enjoy feeling like i’m just a few skin/muscle/far layers away from touching baby 🤣🥰

Wait until about 8 weeks time 😅😅 with my son I had my placenta at the back and so the movements were very very pronounced - I could literally see his bottoms and back rolling across my belly from one side to the other - would stop me in conversation a few times as it is quite the sensation 😂😂

Mine has gone a bit more solid in the last week in general, and after I eat it goes rock solid probs from the bloating

I have been getting this since 16 weeks. It’s just baby moving closer to the surface. I love it. Can really really feel the size of bubba when you put your hands there 🥰 xx
