@Kate thank you 🙏 I’ve heard of heart beeps and monkey music I’m sure they have advertised on my page!! I have a community group on Facebook called Southfields Community group SW19.. I am also connected to a great local church, I usually attend Ackroydon community church which is connected and run by St Mikes. I’m not ready yet to start bringing baby into public places as she is so sensitive so maybe in a couple more months when she is ready I will definitely try all those places! I was thinking of something more for me 😅 like a women’s support group maybe, coffee chat and connect without the babies being involved. I’ve tried to start things like this in my area in the past as I know at top of the hill we do not have things on offer like that but wondered if there was anything in the wider local area maybe 😊
Try your local children’s centre? They do baby groups and support parents
Congratulations on the arrival of your little one!! Glad to hear she is thriving! In southfields check out hartbeeps and monkey music for sensory groups a bit further down the line, tbh i took my son from about 4-5 weeks and it was great for me to meet other mums and he seemed to like it. Otherwise there are lots of family/community things, i think there’s one in wandsworth park, check out any churches too even if you’re not religious, many of them do lovely weekly playgroups where you can go meet new mums! 😊 hope this helps
