Wedding venue HELP!

My husband has decided he thinks we should have our official wedding in his parent’s yard. Granted it’s a beautiful property in Southern Oregon. His parents are great but his mom can be a tad controlling and would like kids invited and I really don’t want kids there (besides our own). I honestly just prefer something a little nicer. Our wedding will be small, no more than 50-75 guests. How do I tell him I don’t want it? He seems so attached to this idea. BUT if anyone has any suggestions between Silicon Valley and Southern Oregon that will blow his socks off I need them! Preferably outdoor and of it has animals I’ll love it a little extra.
