Understanding premom

My automatic ovulation reading is 0.01. But as far as I can tell, my manual reading is the second to last dark line, which i guess should mean the automatic reading is much higher. My cycle was shorter this time than last month. The app says I should be ovulating today but all automatic readings have been very low. What's going on? Am I ovulating?

Ok so one thing I've noticed is your pictures are not all lined up properly, the app reads by assuming the line is in one place, if it's not exactly in that place it doesn't know how to read it. So go back and delete any duplicates and really focus on having that test lined up properly using the automatic shutter or lining up on the diagram. I'm not sure I understand the question But it looks like these tests are not positive so not an LH peak yet

Also the quality of the pictures probably isn’t good enough to get an accurate reading, especially in terms of the lighting. Try to always do them with the same sort of lighting and the same angle and distance from the camera. They all look very low so far, but that can be normal for cycle day 11!

@Charley so at the point of taking the image, the strip has to touch both lines or near enough?

@Jules okay, thanks Julia. I haven't thought of any of this.

@Jules which cycle day, do women usually ovulate?

It can vary a lot from one woman to the next, they say it would usually be around day 14 based on a 28 day cycle but it could be before or after that too. I think the majority of women would ovulate before day 20 but it is also possible to have some cycles where you don’t ovulate at all!

Yes there is a guide when you're taking the photo in the app that helps you line up the test and control lines. Most people ovulate 10-14 days before their period
