Did anyone go on to non hormonal contraception after birth?

My body doesn't respond well to hormonal contraception because of medical history I can only use the implant, and the pill that you don't take breaks from I've done both and I don't react well to either of them. I really don't want to do the iud either heard to many horror stories about that as well. Was thinking about the diaphragm or the cap thing anyone used these what are your experiences? Is there any other form of non hormonal contraception I can use that I haven't thought of? All advice is welcome

the only birth control that is non hormonal is the copper iud. that's the one I got 2 weeks ago because I also can't use most hormonal birth controls. there's no other contraception that's non hormonal from what i know other then condoms, pulling out, etc.

You hear horror stories about the iud but it is EXTREMELY rare, I’ve had a few forms of contraception, the pill, the implant, the injection and honestly the iud is the best thing I’ve ever done

I'm going natural cycles and condoms. I'm going to hopefully invest in an oura ring so it's easier to measure my basal temperature when I'm up and down with a baby. I have no intention of going hormonal..I just don't want to. I spent 18 years on it 2 years ago and don't want to go back because I hate it!
