Back to back pregnancy

I had back to back pregnancies (irish twins). It is very tiring, especially looking after a baby but I had no complications having 2 so close together. I am already seeing such a lovely bond forming with my two boys.

My lo is 3 months on Tuesday and Iv just had a positive today, the dr scared me when doing a health check and basically said having a child so soon after birth isn’t recommended as to many complications so I’m driving my self insane over it it’s so hard to think positive xx

I was never told that having them back to back would cause any complications. If you are healthy and your last pregnancy went smoothly, then there is no reason why this wouldn't too. I was in denial about my pregnancy for a while, but despite how tiring it is we are loving having them so close in age. You just have to do what is right for you.

Not me but my mum had 3 kids in 3 years and all 3 pregnancies were fine, all labours were great, and all the births went well too... She was never told of any complications at all hun, sounds like your doctor is just trying to scare you 😞 but you need to do what's best for you and your family, good luck ❤️

This dr was very pushy to have me on contraception that I was booked in to have on the 7th of October I have a 9 yo and have struggled getting pregnant ever since her so to have my 3 month old and another on the way so soon I feel blessed but can’t seem to get why the dr said out my head, I haven’t had complications, with my last I had colistasis of pregnancy but only the lowest form of it my bloods never went over the freehold of needing medication l, I’m sure all will be fine thank you for the positivity really appreciate it x
