Worried about eating

18 months next week! I'm a little worried about how much shes actually eating! She plays with her food so much and I understand its important for her development so I try to leave her to it. Shes practicing with a fork- and doesn't want me feeding her with it! She has breakfast no problem. Lunch and dinner are problematic lol and then bottle milk before bed. I've been telling myself she won't let herself starve right? Like if she was hungry she would eat? Any feedback ladies đź’—

I’m following as I have a 2 year old who is exactly the same! x

Same boat with my girl

Going through the same my lo hasn’t ate a meal for over a week

Same boat. It’s is really taking its toll on my anxiety levels.

Is she growing and gaining weight well? Does she have enough energy to go through the day? Is she having a lot of milk? Mine used to not eat much, but when I am not with her (means no milk), she can eat her meal, ask for more, and eat some of her daddy's food. She will not let herself starve.

Thanks ladies. She has 240mls milk at night only. Thats it so the meals throughout the day or lack thereof are worrying me but it seems like its normal?

Probably normal. I was on a training with pediatricians once and they reassured us that children this age won't reject food if they are actually hungry. I was also a very fat baby, as a toddler also and then from like 3-6 years I was really skinny because I didn't eat great. And after that I was overweight and then normal weight🤷‍♀️
