My daughter had nap time and her hair got a little messy so one of her PreK teachers did her hair. I’m so thankful, especially because she has super thick, long curly hair and she even did her baby hairs and put bows on her ponytails..

What’s a nice gesture to show my appreciation? I’m thinking gift cards, maybe target or Starbucks..they’re into skincare too, maybe I can give them both a few products?

I think maybe a gift card unless you know specific products they like

@Gabrielle what’s a reasonable amount? $10, $20?

Hun , I’ve worked in daycares for 4 years have fixed multiple kids hairs and done other stuff to go above the expectations ( probably a lot like this provider who looked after babygirl) we tend to do these things so regularly that it’s just normal to us , no matter what u give her I’m sure it’ll be more than enough to help her see u appreciate the care she gives ur kid xxx

I’ve heard a thank you goes a long way

@Angela of course a thank you is always nice but most teachers are over worked and underpaid so if I’m in a position to give more than a thank you, I will.

@Lailey lou I totally understand this. It’s in their nature. I won’t go over the top lol just something small that says thank you

@Mae honestly I wish more of the parents were like u , as much as we never expect anything when those gifts did show up it defo put a smile on everyone’s faces , even a box of chocolates for the room would have made a bad day the best ! Thankyou for thinking of daycare workers as people 🥹🥰 Xx

I do a target or Walmart gift card. Cause then she can really buy whatever she wants or needs. Whether it’s sweets, stuff for her own child, clothes, whatever it’s a catch all.

$10 is Perfect! And then at the end of the school year maybe something a little more grand, like a $25 gift card in a Cute inexpensive Tumblr cup (from like 5below) with candy in it! 💛

A gift card would be perfect and maybe a small snack that she likes. A little gesture can go a long way.

A gift card
