Birth control

Okay so I gave birth June 30 and still obviously going through the hormone wackiness but I’m just starting to level out again and feel more calm/ less postpartum rage and anxiety but I’m scared to start BC again and to have these feelings come back. What was your experience getting back on birth control the first time after birth? Also I got pregnant because my birth control pill failed, so definitely going a different route for BC, what did you use and did you like it?

BC has so many side effects, depression was the worst! I got off of it and decided to track my ovulation instead as a form of birth control and I’m going on five years with this method!

I was on nexplanon after I gave birth. Did what it needed to do I guess but I hated how I felt. Now on kyleena and I love it so far

The only bc I found that doesn't mess with my mood is a pop pill (norethindrone) or the depo shot. I got the shot about a month and a half ago still no period or mood swings.

Annovera and nexplanon were the worst for me I had horrible mood swings and cried all the time

I use the mini pill - I like it. But you have to be careful on it. I messed up on it and now I have a daughter. But it gives me no side effects, I just didn't read to take it at the same time everyday. I was just taking it as and when during the day.

@Mae this is what I’m going to go with too! Birth control is horrible honestly!
