I dealt with irregular periods like this for a couple years before I fell pregnant , I never got the answers , definitely isn’t normal xxx push for answers. Mine become regular once I had my baby surprisingly
My medical opinion as a clinician is to speak to another Dr, ensure your smear is up to date, have tests done to insure you don't have an infection (staph infection can cause irregular bleeds for example) if you're on contraception, it might be that too. I've just gone through something similar with my friend & I had to help her get all the right checks, it's a nightmare
Are you on any kind of contraception at the moment as depending on which one these can affect periods in different ways
No i am not on any sort of contraception I’m going to definitely look into this
Agree it sounds abnormal. Go speak to a different GP for a second opinion.
