Not healing after birth

I feel like im the only one who isnt fully healed after nearly 12 weeks and its making me feel a bit lonely My episiotomy stitches are fully healed however i got an infected stitch on my second degree tear at 6 weeks, then the infection didnt clear and ive been on 3 sets of antibiotics, now the infections cleared but it still bleeds slightly every day and hurts after standing for a while, i also have an internal infection which they have only just started to look into as they thought it was just the external infection that was showing in my blood, trying not to panic about it as they havent said exactly what the infection is but ive got constant cramp in my womb and stomach so have given me strong antibiotics After a traumatic birth i just want to start to move on but im in constant pain and its just one thing after another Please tell me im not the only one as everyone ive spoken to is fully healed and has been for a while

Hi I’m 10 weeks pp and I’m going through similar to you, I had an episiotomy aswell, it also got infected, went for our 6-8 week checkup I was saying now that I have a normal period, I feel like my organs are going to fall out, it’s painful, so she did check it and did say it’s still healing, but it’s still sore, which I don’t get, it’s been 10 weeks, you are most definitely not on your own xx

Not on your own. I had a second degree that hasn’t fully healed and unfortunately I need a bit of skin removing 😢 I am in pain Everytime I wee as the skin is raw and have to try and keep the area dry which is impossible. My op won’t be for months as the referral will take ages so it’s great fun! Xx

I just hope i heal soon because its starting to impact how i feel about taking care of my baby (he only settles when we are stood up but it hurts to stand and rock him for too long) so after looking after him all day im in pain on a night, think it needs to be more talked about that some people dont bounce back straight away after birth x
