Teething…. Help needed

LO has been teething for around a month, tooth has finally cut but LO is struggling early evenings with teeth. Been giving teething rings and Calpol when needed. But dribbling has become a lot and now caused a rash. Any advice?

For drool rash, keep dry as much as possible. Wipe with plain water and put Aquaphor on it (or another type of barrier cream). You’ll need to repeat through the day, particular before nap and sleep. I also like to cover the cot in a muslin so when they stir I can just remove it and they aren’t laying back down in dribble. Calpol, nurofen and teething gel. And lots of cuddles! If you’re doing BLW then a stick of cold cucumber is nice on the gums.

@Rosie she is always wearing a bib and change it quite a lot, have been putting a little bit of sudocreme on it but doesn’t seem to be working. The muslin thing I may try thanks for the tip. Not doing blw but I do have a fruit feeder so may try cucumber in that Thank you for the advice

@Daniella bibs is a good idea! I’ve never been a big fan of sudocreme… have you got some Vaseline or something that wipes off a bit easier? I really rate Aquaphor though if you plan on buying something. It’s pricey but you only use a tiny bit.

@Rosie to be honest I don’t really like using the sudocreme because of the residue it leaves. I’m going to get some of the aquaphor or even Vaseline and see if it works

@Daniella Teething powder and infant bonjela has been working for my daughter
