Sometimes. My neighbour two doors down walks her daughter up to school just like me, so obviously we are leaving the house at basically exact same time, and do we need to be making small talk 5 days a week, NO 😂 so yes I do sometimes hold back until they have walked past.

Yes… if they arrive home at the same time as me sometimes I sit in my car for longer on my phone and wait until they’ve gone in 🙈 to be honest I hide from people to avoid conversations a lot if I haven’t planned to see them even people I get on well with. I’m too introverted to deal with small talk or surprise conversations.

Yes!!! I am neighborly but all the time is a bit much. Speak and keep it pushing. I value good neighbors though, bc you just never know when you / who you might need and vice versa!

I thought I was the only one. I hate talking to my neighbors every day.

Our neighbor is older and seemingly hates us for no reason. When my husband moved in he tried to introduce himself and exchange contact details and she told him she does not give her phone number out. When I moved in about a year later I would smile and wave and she would just roll her eyes. She’s about twice our age, her power is frequently turned off and there are signs of hoarding and lack of family. Either way, I used to try and talk to her but now I could care less.

@Allison it be old bitter ass people like that, who need the most love and empathy.... But you are her neighbor and not her therapist - so she will be 🆗
