MIL doesn’t like me but LOVES my baby? 🤔
I became a ftm 6 months ago to the most precious baby girl. My MIL and I tolerate each other. She is a major narcissist so I keep her at a distance. She has never referred to me as her daughter in law despite her son and I being married 4 years now (he’s her only child). I’m simply her “son’s wife”. When she’s about to leave from her visit she tells my daughter she loves her but I can’t help but feel it’s an act. Idk why but I can’t shake the feeling. I don’t allow her to be alone with my baby and never will. If you can’t stand me what makes me think your love for MY child is genuine???
