Always called it lemon salad armpits lmao because it smells just like the salad my husbands nan makes with onion, lettuce and lemon juice haha, it would happen now and again before i was pregnant too, my hubby would get it now and then too, no idea what causes it though your right is so much harder to get rid of when pregnant 😬
