How do you serve cucumber in bwl?

I tried giving my baby a slice of cucumber like I have done with the carrots and it was really bad, I tried it and it’s just too hard. How do your babies eat the cucumber?

I peel and slice.

Mine just ate slices. You can also do sticks and they can gnaw on it

You can also roll it in something like crushed kids biscuits so it’s easier for them to hold

I did fingers, cutting the cucumber into about quarters, then LO can just gnaw on it and suck and chew. The solid starts app is great for how to showing how to serve food at different ages and stages.

Finger length, cut in half and then quartered to take the rounded shape away. Also with cooked carrots it’s best to quarter them if cutting circles or serve in finger length and width batons again to take away the rounded shape ☺️

Started off with sticks and now moved onto removing the skin (as baby doesn’t like it) and just getting into cubes as he prefers it that way

I used to shred it and mix with yogurt. Add it on top of rice.

I cut it into finger slices and peel it. He especially loves gnawing on it when he's teething

I recommend the solid starts app to check these kind of things for all foods - soooo helpful!!
