Do I add water or baby’s milk when I’m making purées?

I pureed some peas today for my baby who just turned 6 months today and had her first taste, I added a couple oz of water and made a few batches of the purée but I just read somewhere you should add baby’s milk?!

It doesn’t really matter. You can do whatever. But purée will last longer in the fridge or freezer with water.

You can add either. Some recomend milk at first i think to make the taste of puree somewhat familiar to them. Some even add cowsmilk (to meals only) to introduce the dairy allergen. So do whatever you think is best.

It’s totally up to you! When you come to reheat/defrost the purées you made, you can always add a bit of milk in then if you want to try it. I tried breast milk in my daughter’s food and she hated it, preferred plain water 😂

Thank everyone 😁
