NIPT fetal sex
has anyone gotten the baby's gender wrong on their nipt test? I'm just now coming around to they idea that I'm having a boy and getting excited but my test says accuracy 98%. I know it's pretty high but just curious if anyone has gotten theirs and was wrong?

98% isn't "pretty high".... your NIPT is not wrong
From what my doctor told me a boy result is pretty accurate. The way he explained it is sometimes a girl result could have some question marks since there is a margin of error where your blood could be tested vs babies. But with a boy if you never had a Y chromosome and the results show that you pretty much are having a boy cause that y chromosome wouldn't show up. I think it is pretty accurate though from everyone I talked to who even had a girl result! I am also having a little boy!
