Is it wrong for me to be scared and go to a hotel

My biggest fear is driving in the rain and hurricanes are pretty much making me feel like they're driving at us while we are standing still. Around my house is like 4 huge ahh piles of sticks so I wanted to leave the house last night thinking the storm was coming in by 8am this morning but now it's coming around 7pm?? The winds are at 58-73 mph in my area but it's only been sprinkling but I kinda pressured my man to buy a hotel and now he's mad at me 😭 I'm 31 weeks pregnant and I was terrified did I do bad though

Better be safe than sorry! He shouldnt be mad, he needs to be protecting you and make u feel safe and comfortable. Dont ever doubt your instincts ❤️ you’re mom and u know better.

You did Great 💙 I have been in Florida for a while now and every time we are near the path of the hurricane we go to a hotel. My husband learned this from his grandparents who lived in Florida all their life. Their reasoning is that if there is flooding it will not affect the higher floors of a hotel and they will be safe. Make sure to take all food and water with you just in case. 💕

There is nothing wrong with feeling the way you feel. You have to provide safety for yourself and your family. Get a hotel

Well it's seems like my boyfriend broke up with me 😭 he said he doesn't love me he says he never did 😭💔 I don't even have anyone to go to and I have no money 😭💔💔 he just left the hotel with all of his stuff I don't know what to do 😭 just because I wanted to be safe 😭😭

I think if I were him, I would’ve been pissed too. You wasted money. You guys have a whole baby on the way. And staying in the house during a hurricane is not that bad people do it all the time especially if you’re not in evacuation zone. I’m located in Tampa. We didn’t get any rain.

If you’re not in evacuation zone, then you just wasting money. If you gonna live in Florida, you gonna have to have thicker skin, especially depending on your location

@Jazzmin We were in the evacuation zone and we got hit hard there are trees down everywhere and some houses got pretty messed up the winds were faster than anticipated and my boyfriend said that I actually made a good call once the storm actually came

Definitely not! The last thing you want is to be stressed and 31 weeks pregnant. you did what was best for you and baby.
