Teething pain?

How much pain was your babies in when the TOP teeth were coming through? His two at the bottom came through no problem no pain, he’s been up all night for around 2 hours this morning screaming his head off, I tried everything, I just cried in the end 🤣. he had calpol so that might’ve help put him to sleep a little bit. He was happy this morning then screaming again so had another 5ml of calpol, he’s also having 8oz like normal then another 8oz straight after. Is this normal? What happens if he’s screaming all night again tonight??

Ashton and parson powder or gel I use both. Heard that spring onions are meant to be amazing but I've not tried it yet x

I fully recommend calprofen for the really bad times, it works a treat for my LG, we tend to give it just before bedtime if she's really struggling in the evening! We also use anbesol liquid, rub it on her gums and it numbs them for a little bit, she also seems to love the taste!! Much like you we got her bottom two through without any pain when she was about 4 months, she's thankfully finally just cut her top two JUST, and nowbwe seem to be calming down a bit! She still has bad mornings or afternoons though bless her. These poor bubba's go through so much!

@Lauren we’ve always used the teething gel! Now it’s getting worst it doesn’t seem to work though xx

@Alix thankyou I’ll try it! What does anbesol look like? X

@Alix thankyou 😩 definitely going to try! Does it need to be prescribed or can I get it in Morrisons/tesco? Xx

@Emily not prescribed but I had to get it over the counter in boots :)

@Alix great thankyou x
