Is it completely up to me to stop taking the pill (microgynon) contraceptive.

I don’t like taking them. It’s so unnatural and stops the body from doing natural things. I started taking them again since my son was born. He is now 22 months. Me and my partner don’t have sex at the moment due to co sleeping etc so I feel as I’m just taking it for the sake of it. I will obviously tell my partner but just to be sure it is my decision and I am allowed to decide?

Who’s decision would it be? It’s your body

It’s a carcinogen. Enough said.

It is your decision and yours only. @Dušanka well done for spouting false information 😉 There’s not enough research to know if it promotes cancer. Next you are going to say that the MMR vaccine for 1 year olds give them autism. This app makes my day😂😂😂😂

You could go non-hormonal, like the copper IUD (paragaurd). Some people experience heavier periods, though. Me personally everything was all same-same.

Less toxic stuff in your body. The better 💕✨

It’s completely your choice. It only happening to your body and hormones affect everything about us including our mood. If it’s not feeling right for you, just stop taking them. Of course, he may want to continue with a contraceptive method as your partner but there’s lots of options including just condoms. Im sure he’ll be no issue with you saying you want to try another method considering it doesn’t affect him xx

If you don't want to take it don't, as long as you inform your partner. There are non hormonal options out there or use condoms

I would let your partner know and have a backup plan incase you do want to have sex at some point. Maybe a packet of condoms and track your cycle. The decision is 100% yours though.

@Dušanka id rather a life time prescription than spouting bullshit. I’d rather be sure on the facts before giving anyone false information or trying to scare monger them into thinking “this is gonna promote cancer if I put it in my body”. So maybe do some research and stop being so narrow minded. Cheers babes xoxoxoxox
