I asked my HV team to complete it for me. I submitted at 5months and was accepted not long after, Aslong as they have your application before 6months I think they will accept it and it won’t be rejected unless you aren’t entitled to it x

I applied after she was born. If you get child benefit and she has been registered (had a birth certificate) then you will be able to apply without the need of GP and midwife

Sorry I haven't be getting notifications! No I didn't send any birth certificate off. I had the same problem as you, so I called them and they asked if my daughter was registered and whether I received child benefit. I said yes to both and they said its no problem as she will be in the database. They are good at communicating if there are any questions or queries too. I had to apply twice and I put a different bank account on the 2nd applicant so they called to check with me. You can always give them a call, they are quite quick answering the phone x
You're cutting it fine here as you only have until baby is 6 months to claim! You won't be able to get a GP appointment in time so I'd try calling your community midwife office.
