How do I keep calm?

After trying for 4 years with no luck, we’re finally pregnant (4weeks 3days). I’m really scared something is going to go wrong, had 1 miscarriage 13 years ago. Got a beta on Tuesday and then 6 week scan on 13th October. How do I keep myself busy until then?!

Just try not to think about it I guess lol but I’m sure everything is going to be just fine and you’re rightfully stoked!!

@Cassie I feel like I need company around me to distract me.. I work from home alone 🙃

Congratulations!! Extremely exciting news for you!! Just try and keep busy if you can. I know it’s easier said than done xx

@Beckie my friends coming to keep me company on her working from home days so at least there’s that 😂 don’t know how else to keep me busy

@Kirsty I’ve been re watching friends for a distraction too!! Xx

Download a baby app and track how big the baby is. Baby is the size of a poppy seed! Are you feeling any symptoms Try to go out for walks. Get some naps in, you'll be feeling tired. Listen to and watch some comedy, keep yourself positive. Get used to cutting down on coffee. Congratulations!

Congrats don't be scared believe in you and your baby and everything will be just fine I have faith in you

That’s an ink stealer for just 4wks along! 😯 sign of high pregnancy hormones! I know it’s so much easier said than done but when you catch yourself worrying just switch your mindset to, what if everything works out perfectly 🥰

I had a miscarriage prior to my baby now, I was terrified but all went well! I am sending you a big hug and lots of congratulations!!!!!! So exciting

Congratulations! I’m 3 weeks 4 days and also terrified

@El please feel free to message me, we can be nervous together!

I found apps like Ovia and what to expect are great because it gives you in detail about what's happening in our bodies and with baby this week. The thought of growing a digestive system this week has really gotten me through 😂

@Kmarls I love this 😂 I’m at risk for an ectopic pregnancy for some reason. I think as soon as I’ve had my early scan I’ll be relaxed a tad bit more but that’s in 2 weeks 🙃

Congrats! I’m in a similar situation, I’ve been watching YouTube vids on embryo’s development and there some great meditations on the headspace app too.
