4 weeks, I had a tear that wasn’t classified as a half but wasnt a first degree either, but I was healed, and we were very careful. I didn’t hurt until he started getting a little rough. I told him and he slowed down a bit, we really went rough at 7 weeks.

I tore and had stitches, had sex at 6 weeks but hurt a little so waited until 10 weeks and it didn’t hurt or feel uncomfortable

I waiting just over 8 weeks, it hurt a tad but was fine after. I only had a tiny tear inside tho, definitely wait until you feel a bit more comfortable

I had an episiotomy and we didn’t have sex until 6 months postpartum, and we didn’t start to have regular sex until almost a year. It all depends on when you and your body are ready! I still find it can uncomfortable at first if there isn’t enough foreplay so just listen to your body and you’ll be okay!

I had a second degree tear. Waited until I was 6 weeks pp. It was uncomfortable at first but the scar tissue was tender

Did tear, sex 2 weeks later

6 weeks I had a 2 first degree tears. It was a little painful/uncomfortable but was easier for me to be on top/lead the show lol just so I could take it at my own pace

I had an abrasion tear that my midwife described as “like skinning your knee,” which healed well but I remember being like wtf kind of skinned knees are youuu used to? Do your skinned knees burn when you pee, ma’am? I had prepared for the pan of birth but I hadn’t prepared for the pain that follows, so that was a reality check. I remember getting cleaned up after birth and feeling like it was a more shocking experience than the birth itself. Anyway I had an uncomplicated, unmedicated delivery. We waited until I was ready (pretty much a full following season, we took 3 months).

I had 3x 2nd degree tears. We had sex for the first time 3 months pp. Was a bit painful, still is. I'm very dry all the time. I hardly have any discharge since birth so that is probably one of the reasons for sex being uncomfortable. We were waiting cause I was bleeding for quite long and I wanted to heal properly. Also bled a bit after the first time for about a day.

When my first son was born in 2021 I didn't have any tears after my vaginal delivery and I had sex 2 weeks postpartum. I really enjoyed it but I don't recommend it because I could've gotten pregnant again. I did test at my 6 week check up and thank God I wasn't pregnant but I did get on birth control for a little bit. I'm currently pregnant with baby boy number 2 and due in March. I'm hoping for another vaginal delivery again.

After 6 week appt bc I did have a minor tear that required stitches and I wanted to make sure they were all dissolved first. Truly, first time was uncomfortable. At the suggestion of multiple people, we used lube and I just hate the feeling of it 🥴 but without it the friction on the scar felt weird. Honestly we’re still trying to figure it out, but I think that’s the best you can do! Communicate and keep trying different things

7 weeks, 2nd degree tear with a few stitches. it did hurt the first time, it was really tight. just take it slow and give it a few tries. don’t be scared!

I didn’t tear and I had sex two weeks after its was painful tho wouldn’t recommend.

10 weeks. Episiotomy

I did the day before 6 weeks. I had a 2nd degree tear and lots of stitches however after 4 weeks I felt alot better and felt ready, we went slow but it didn’t hurt at all and haven’t had a problem at all. It’s just when you’re ready!
