You don't have to wrap them if she hasn't gotten to the point she'd be able to unwrap them or if you don't think she'd be interested enough to do so, but you can still get her sensory and development toys appropriate for her age, and even a little older. My daughter will be around the same age at Christmas and some things we have on our list are object permanence toys like a coin and ball drop box with a drawer, you could also get push walkers to help her learn to walk, even if she doesn't use them for a few more months. She may not remember this Christmas but you can still use it as a chance to get toys and such that she can play with. It's also a chance to update her wardrobe if she needs more clothes lol

@Salem thank you!!

@Aaleah of course! I was in the same boat about a week ago thinking about what to get her but having no clue, and i also reached out for ideas lol

I’m in the same boat. My daughter will be 6 months in December. I don’t think we will be getting her anything. Probably just put some extra money into her savings account. But I’m here for ideas too.

I will not being buying my son any gifts for his birthday or Christmas anytime soon. Babies are like cats, you buy a toy and they play with the box lol plus all our family and friends will get him shit. There’s no sense in spending money like that, at least that’s how I feel.

im getting my baby toys that he can use up to his first bday (musical toys/ books/sensory toys/hand puppets/balls/stacking toys)

my daughter was a month old last year for christmas but as it was her first i got her some bits, mainly just sensory items like sophie le giraffe, sensory balls, water mat stuff like that and i did wrap it just because it looked so sweet under the tree 😂 xx

No tbh just make a memory, my son will be 8 months by Christmas time and imma do cute diy Christmas paintings and a photoshoot and we travel to see family anyways so we just experience new things and make lots of food, material things aren’t as important as memories especially if you are a working mama. 🫶🏾

If family ask, I’ll request money for his bank account or to pay for special clubs/swim lessons. We’re just getting a few stocking fillers: books and sensory toys x

mine will be the same age. i'm not buying her anything like that, im just gonna buy stuff she needs.

I braught my little girl just clothes that will fit her and a seat from Aldi that helps them sit up as my little one will be 6 months by Christmas x
