Need Friends for RPG

Okay mamas, I’m need to the rpg scene and I wanted to get into DnD but I don’t know where to start and I don’t have any friends in Greensboro. Plus I have major social anxiety issues. Any ideas?

I used to play dnd online! It's easier than trying to find friends nearby. Or you can see if there's a game shop near you that hosts nights

Other than Discord, I’ve seen people on Facebook that are holding sessions but they’re not beginner friendly

We hosted ours on discord. You might be able to find a group on Reddit or something. Or if you just meet one person that could bring you in, that might help with the social anxiety. I know it's super nerve wracking with a whole group you don't know, but most dnd people are super nice!!
