I think taking iron helped me but you may need to check with your doctor on that
Postpartum hair loss is linked to mineral deficiency. Even though you’re taking those supplements, your mineral stores were likely depleted during pregnancy and need to rebuild. It might be worth getting some bloodwork done to see what exactly you’re deficient in so you know what to supplement ❤️ I follow an IG account that specializes in postpartum labs and stuff like that if you’d like me to share!
I'm afraid to even touch my hair cause so much is falling off😭 I'm taking vitamins hoping it helps cause I honestly don't even wanna shower lol🫠
Ugh also falling out
@Tonya I’m planning on that, I’m military so no appointments for the next 4 months. I’m gonna have to pull some strings to try but most likely it’ll be a pat on the back and “that’s just postpartum it’s normal”
@Fani literally every time I wash my hair it comes out in clumps and then brushing my hair… I remember having to empty my hair brush maybe once a month but now it’s ever 2 days..
@Nina , it's horrible 😔 but it's part of the process. We just have to deal with it and do everything out there to help our hair
So I had hair loss before pregnancy. Then pregnancy helped mine and now I’m also losing my hair in drastic amounts but I’m chalking mine up to my alopecia I had previously. The comments are right though, you’re lacking in something and need blood drawn. I’d go do it, I was going to have to get shots because it’s a hormone imbalance and my body is attacking itself. Good luck.
Same here and I already have thin hair to begin with. I’m terrified at taking the shower because of how much hair is coming out from my head. I’m 3 months pp and still taking prenatal. Hopefully this too shall pass 😭
I have CLUMPS coming out in the shower or even when I brush it! I’ve started taking hair, skin and nail vitamins but I have yet to see a change!😭 So i’ll be following this post!🫶🏼
