Teething

Is it normal for a baby to spend weeks in great pain for many hours a day due to teething and still not have a tooth out? Mine has been doing this for 3 weeks and there is still no sign of tooth out.

Can you see a tooth under the skin at all? If not I'd make an appt. Screaming in pain for 3 weeks with no sign of a tooth coming in warrants some concern.

Yes ☹️ sometimes they take a long time to come out. My son's front teeth have been coming in for close to a month but they're not in yet you can see them but they are not coming through yet

@Mik the gums are to some degree white looking, but the tooth hasn't penetrated them yet and isn't visible

Mine did this for like a month, kept showing teething signs and no tooth was coming. It finally broke through. I will say what was a huge help for us though was Camila drops, they helped a ton with teething!

Yes -Teether toys- frozen or refrigerated -Mesh feeders with frozen milk (formula or breast) or baby food -Tylonol or ibuprofen if over 6m, which I'm guessing baby is -snuggles when you can Teething is extremely painful for babes. We're going on about 6 weeks with still no signs of the tooth popping though.
