Anxiety

How did you guys deal with waiting to go into labor? I am so anxious and starting to panic because all of a sudden I don’t feel ready anymore. I know I am and I just want to meet my baby boy but the anxiety is real. One stressed out first time mama.

When I was 36 weeks I was very anxious and panicked suddenly. My husband took me out to eat, we went for short walks, and I continued to work from home. At 37 weeks I felt like labor wasn’t coming but then at 37 weeks 3 days I went into labor very quickly and had my baby. I think the anxiety and just feeling out of sorts were signs that I was about to give birth.

@Erin that’s what my mom said! Lol. I’m 39+2 so it wouldn’t be very early. Thanks for the answer! I hope that’s what’s happening to me.

I also am very very anxious! I am getting induced tomorrow and I almost want to be like uhhhhh never mind 😂😂 even though I am wanting baby boy out ! I’ll be 39 weeks and 4 days tomorrow, so I am getting an elective induction and I’m extremely nervous. I just want my son here safely. I’m a first time mama too, and not knowing how it’s going to go is driving me nuts 😂

Also thinking on how tonight is basically my last night at home as a married woman only, and how everything is about to change very soon is definitely a bit of an anxiety causing emotions too lol

@Shazia wow I would be nervous too!! Hope everything goes great! At least the waiting game will be over!!! You got this!

This is so normal! I had a labor scare at 38 weeks and I all of a sudden had major anxiety about being a mommy. Also wondering.. am I ready? It is sooo natural as our lives are about to change! We just have to give ourselves grace during this 🩵 one thing that helped me get over my extreme anxiety and now knowing if I was ready was I fortunately had an ultrasound at my 39 week appt and seeing his cute little face brought me peace
