Has he always been a picky eater? Have you stopped buying those items & offered things he used to eat? What happens?
@Dana Lew We have offered him countless things, and his great grandma keeps buying the yogurt and cream cheese and bringing it over, making sure he knows it's in the house. I finally did get him to eat some potatoes, carrots and green beans the last few days.
Could you offer great grandma other things she can bring over? Or see if you can get her to help? Maybe invite her over for burgers, fries, & milkshakes. Make pizza together? Do you get him involved in prep & cooking? What about foods he can dip? Fruit & fruit dip (plain yogurt or a yogurt based dip)? We make cashew cream both sweet & savory for dip. Kids eat in color us a great resource for picky eating.
maybe if he likes yogurt and strawberry cream cheese, you could try to make a yogurt and strawberry smoothie, if they go for that, maybe try to sneak in a little bit of spinach or something like that to increase their nutrient intake?
Yeah my son is pretty picky. And he has a texture problem like he HATES applesauce lol but loves apples
