girl i think i started getting them like at 30 weeks or a lil earlier then that 😭 my ob told me to hydrate and i would but they were so bad. i didn’t get them all the time tho. i went into labor at 39 weeks lol
Sounds like it. Got them around 25 weeks in both pregnancies. I delivered 39w5 with my first and am currently 34w along with my second
I started getting braxton hicks with this pregnancy about 16 weeks. I'm 21 weeks now. I also got them early with my daughter and gave birth to her at 36 weeks. Braxton hicks is just your body getting ready for contractions.
Thanks for the insight mommas! I’m 34 weeks tomorrow and even though this is my second pregnancy, my first experience was very different. I had an anterior placenta and my baby girl was only 5lbs5oz so I never felt kicks/movement or any contractions with my her. Ended up having a c-section bc she was breech. So this time around, I’m experiencing things I didn’t before. Both exciting and nerve wrecking! Thanks again 🥰
@Joanna being so far along, I'd say still be counting them. If they start getting consistent and close together in time, call your OB or go in. ❤️
I’m 28 weeks and got them the other day. I had to do the slow breathing method 😭 With my first, I don’t remember when but it woke me up from a dead ass sleep. I gave birth at 37 weeks + 6 days.

Yes that's braxton hicks. Contractions don't stop when you change position. Braxton hicks aren't painful and can stop when you move around or change positions. I got them during my third trimester and didn't deliver until 41 weeks. It's just your body preparing itself.
