Spitting out meds
My 14 month old started spitting out meds after a recent viral infection and her pediatrician wants her to take childrens zyrtek for 2 weeks but she cries & spits out anything I give her in an oral syringe. Any suggestions. Please don’t say blow in her face- tried it & it just traumatized her and she still spit out half of it….

It's not the most popular suggestion, but it has been the only way to get my baby to take any medicine.... I put it in a few oz of milk when he's hungry, so I know he'll drink it, and he does! Every time!
@Marisa she does take a pacifier but only 1 kind (itzy ritzy with a pink horse attached- it’s her security object). She’ll refuse any other paci. I thought about trying to make one out of an extra pacifier but I’m afraid it’ll just compromise it since they’re silicone.

Does she take a pacifier? Frida makes a pacifier syringe where you squirt it in their mouth while the suck on the paci. You could also try mixing it in something like applesauce or milk
