Can someone explain to me what's Republican's beef with IVF?
Am I missing something? Vance and other Republicans are wanting to encourage people to have kids but at the same time rejecting the right to IVF. Make it make sense please?

I think it depends on religious belief of who is speaking for the reasons stated above. Trump has said he wants to make it so that IVF is paid for by the government & insurance companies.

Unused embryos are often discarded which goes against Catholic belief. There is a process called compassionate transfer and it’s when additional embryos are transferred when they are not likely to implant, that way it isn’t technically throwing them away and the mother is accepting a possible pregnancy. Many places do not do it because it’s expensive. I’m not saying I agree with the stance but this is the opinion.
