Questions about placenta experience
So I posted on here I believe last week about baby girl stomach measuring small. And I found out that my placenta isn’t producing enough nutrients for her like it’s supposed to. I did have the gastric sleeve last July so I don’t know if that’s the cause of it... Always struggled with fertility so I didn’t think I would get pregnant right then. So my question is has anyone else experience their placenta not giving the baby the proper nutrition and did it get better? I’ll be 34 weeks this Wednesday. They mention me having her early if her next measurements are not improving…so I been drinking my protein shakes and trying to eat stuff high in nutrients I dont know if that’s going to help. I also take prenatal faithfully including my multivitamin as well due to me having the surgery I have too.

@Joy oh ok, all my vitamins levels are good. They are checking again next week to see what my levels are. I didn’t have to have a C-section with my first daughter. So I hope I don’t have to this time around.
I had this problem and I didn’t have the surgery. For me I ended up in spontaneous labor with my water breaking at 36 weeks. He came out totally fine just small.
@Aubry oh really? Did you have signs that you were about to go in labor?

I haven't had this problem but I did have the same surgery and I do have mild anemia due to it. I am 33 weeks and have to have another c section when I don't see the reason for it. Right now I'm taking iron to hopefully improve.
