Suddenly fussy over food!

Hello Mama's 👋🏼 We have a very lovely 19 month old boy who up until now has eaten pretty much whatever we give him but over the last 3+ weeks he's completely refusing to eat ANYTHING that isn't pasta at dinner time 🥲 He has Weetabix/porridge/pancakes for breakfast. Eggs/avocado/toast/sandwiches/quavers for lunch and eats strawberries, oranges, bananas, cookies/biscuits for snacks. But dinner time is a nightmare! He literally won't even put the food in his mouth. He won't touch a roast dinner and today he refused his cottage pie until we hid some pasta in it and even then he just picked out the pasta! 🥲 Has anyone else's little one been fussy with food all of a sudden? I don't want him having pasta every day 🥴

I just want to add he doesn't eat all of those snacks in one day but that's the sort of snacks he has 😂😂

My girl is only eating plain pasta for lunch, and weetabix/porridge for dinner for the longest now. She absolutely will not have anything else for dinner. Really just trying to be patient 😫😫 But feel reassured when I see posts like this as I know it’s not just us!

It is frustrating especially when it gets wasted but we just keep trying to offer different things and make sure he has his vitamins just in case he doesn’t have a very varied day

My son won’t even eat his favourite dinners now. The only was I can ‘trick’ him into eating is by pretending I don’t wana share my dinner. Or pretend to put his dummy in his mouth and put a spoon of dinner in instead 😂. He eat it absolutely fine but if he suspects that I’m feeding him… he won’t eat. I sound mad don’t I
