Tonies boxed

I'm looking into potentially getting a Tonies box for my girl for Christmas. She will be just over 6 months by then, is she too young for it?! She currently watches stuff on the iPad when she's laid in her crib and I figured this may be a better idea?

I would say maybe a little too young! Mine didn’t really start properly listening to it until 3 but totally up to you! Do what works!

I got one for mine when he was 18 months. He just likes to take them on and off. But in hindsight I think he is still too young.

@Gem ahhhhh! See I was thinking is it good for her to settle down to on a night but I've read it doesn't have an off button?! 🙈

No they play until the end of the tonie or it is taken off.

@lizzy yeah that makes sense! I don't want her touching the toy bits yet, I was more thinking of the sounds/ stories but I'm not sure if its worth getting just for that

I’d maybe look into a yoto for better longevity. They have more aimed at younger and older audiences rather than just that in between age. They have cards like first words, nursery rhymes, animals and their noises as well as stories etc

My son have the sleeping bear, which is now deffo part of his bedtime routines Disney Baby Lullabies probably would be perfect for your girl.

Second Yoto for longevity also you can control it from your phone and set an off time

My sister got us one when he was born. I use it at bedtime if he's taking a while to settle there is one called sleepy bear and its read in such a calming voice it works everytime as does Paddington. I mostly have story ones rather than song ones and put then on in the morning when i shower and he is playing in his cot. Yep no off button but once he's asleep i just take the Tonie off, we dont let him play with it. I think it's a great gift, and there are so many to choose from for all ages that it will last years!

@Laura sleepy bear works everytime so soothing, wish they had more like it as I am sure I could probably recite the whole story now 🤣
