Eating!

Can we discuss dinners.... my little Theo used to be great at eating and trying new things (once we got over the initial gagging until he was sick situations) but now, at dinner time, won't have anything. Pesto pasta used to be a winner if I was struggling with what to give him, but now even that goes straight on the floor! Finger food goes on the floor, if I try a d spoon feed he knocks the spoon flying g and that ends up on the floor too.... what we thinking??

I started doing hello fresh just last week. It means he eats a bit healthier than he was before and what he gets is from my portion essentially so if he doesn't enjoy it I'll finish it and find something else. But so far he's actually enjoyed "adult" food better than what I was trying to give him before. Previously he'd have fish fingers/beans/spaghetti/rice or pasta with a sauce through it/sausage casserole . So variety of a sort but probably not the healthiest. In the last week he's had a mild korma, salmon, sausage tray bake. All seasoned to accommodate less salt or spice for him :)

Hey Jaymee, I'm in the exact same boat! My LG used to be so into her food and something has changed and she's now pretty picky and likes simple things. Often at nursery she'll just refuse the proper meals they offer (curry, meat and veg, fish pie etc) and just eat bread and butter. So hard isn't it!

Hey Holly! We do exactly this 6 the hello fresh! But it all just goes on the floor 🙃 xxx

My LO has just started doing this as well most of the food just gets chucked on the floor for the bloody dog! He’s still on 3 bottles of milk a day so I’m wondering if I should drop the middle bottle to see if that makes him hungrier so he will eat his food??? x

So I may have found the problem.. . His high chair!!! Hubby took him into the lounge.... in front of the tv.... and he ate his dinner! Now this is something I defo don't want to get into the habit of.... how do I tackle this? Even the things he loves the most, he holds his arm out, and drops the food straight on the floor.... one bit at a time 🤣🤣
