Eating!

My two year old has always been a fussy eater and has a very limited diet, even when being offered to try any type of food or try any persons food. Recently he is barely even eating his favourite/safe foods and it’s becoming even more of a struggle to get him to eat anything! Has anyone gone through this when their toddlers have barely even one bite of their food and refuses absolutely anything else? How have you got your toddlers to eat more?

Pretty much in the same boat here. My first born was a great eater, and lil bro is picking up some of big bros fav food like pizza, sausages, and grilled cheese.

Following for advice too. Same boat here but started out as a great eater and now I’m lucky if she eats anything other than noodles or pasta. Everyone keeps saying it’s a phase but it’s been going on longer than a ‘phase’. Tonight she only ate a few mouthfuls of sweetcorn and yoghurt. It makes dinner times so stressful.

Could molars be coming in? My daughter is getting hers and is basically just snacking/grazing mainly.

My 2 year old is like this too, he was a great eater up until he was 16 months old and now I struggle some days getting him to eat the only meal hw seems to eat is breakfast, lunch he sometimes eats then other days he refuses and dinner he refuses most things unless it’s noodles

My 2 year old was very similar and I’ve started to supplement him with zinc and can see an improvement already. Apparently zinc plays a role in appetite control and taste perception. Some toddlers who are picky eaters or have reduced appetite may benefit from zinc supplementation to improve their appetite and encourage a more balanced diet.
