Did it come up with regular bloodwork or did they do the glucose challenge already? I'm worried about having GD since I've already gained so much weight with this pregnancy.
It came up during my blood tests when I was 12 weeks. I’ve put on almost 6 kgs until I reached 12 weeks of pregnancy. Now I’m trying to cut down on my diet and it’s really too much for my head I feel.
@Charlotte they say it must come down with balancing of our diet so hopefully it gets better. ♥️
Mine was just with regular blood work at my 8 week booking appointment
I had a high one at my 12w blood work, they call me to do an early glucose test because it could be early GD, they did the long version of two hours. It came up perfectly, it was a false positive. Make sure you test again and not just regular blood work.
With my first pregnancy I was diagnosed with GD, I had to change my diet drastically but even with all the changes I was not able to manage my morning sugar, so I was prescribed insulin 😢last two months of my pregnancy were just a pure torture
@Olesya I’m so sorry for that. But are you still continuing with the insulin post pregnancy?
