Children come along on primary school visits?

If you have older children, what did you do last time? If this is your first born, what are you planning to do?

First born. Going to do some on our own, the one we think we will go with we are going to visit twice, the second time with my toddler

He's only just settled into nursery so don't want to start talking about school already and unsettling him, so us the parents are gonna decide for him. I think! This may change 😂

Yes, my son went on two visits with me, simply because when I’m not in the office he is not in the nursery, so he is with me and I don’t have any other option for childcare. He really enjoyed looking at school rooms as well, and he said what his name was, how old he was. When he saw the school library, he said: “Wow, so many books, it’s amazing!” Everyone said it’s cute (when in fact at home my son isn’t interested in books lol)

We have no family closeby to watch our daughter whilst we visit schools, so she'll be coming with us

We've got one which is an open evening so got my sister to watch the girls and the other is in the day time so they will come with us.

The schools we are looking at have said no children on the visits! They are during the day in the week so she will be at nursery anyway and we can wfh, but that would be tough for those who don’t have childcare
