Yes the dentist is covered by your maternity certificate

It depends if your dentist recommends it. If you go to the hygienist on your own accord, it will be classed as cosmetic, therefore you’ll pay. If your dentist recommends and refers you to a hygienist during a check up, then it will be free as they’ve deemed it more than just for cosmetic purposes.
