Really want to change career but at a loss of what to do

I left full time teaching to have a break from the stress. Went into an admin role and I am bored to tears. Has anyone gone into part time teaching and found it more manageable? I would even love to do something animal related but not sure what. Definitely need a more social role. Just wanted to find out what everyone does career wise and the pros of it :)

I can relate so badly to this. I did product design prior to going onto mat leave and then they made the role redundant. I hated the role but it’s the most recent experience I have 🙈 so I’m plannng to go back to the same role and if I find myself working for a good company and team but still hate the work, then I’ll definitely change. I asked for job hunting help thru Wandsworth talking therapies and the lady I’ve been working with is very helpful. She actually offered advise if I wanted to change careers. She did actually suggest part time work due to being a mom.

Are there any job support options available to you thru your local area? I got lucky to be referred to this service when I requested therapy.

This is literally me, I’m a teaching assistant. Haven’t gone back since having my first born 4 years ago! Just had a baby 6 months ago and I really want a fresh start… I’m also thinking have I just wasted my qualification if I don’t go back into the education sector but then I know I don’t want to do it forever. Having kids has just made me want a clean slate and start again at 27 (nearly). I also think, am I too old to not know what I want to do and have I wasted my life…😅😅
