6oz here and he’s 10 weeks. Has about 28-30oz a day but sleeps 11 hours straight at night so can’t complain 🤷♀️ 😅
I’ve got a greedy little girl too 🙋🏽♀️ she’s 10 weeks and is having 6oz every 3 hours
Been on 180 since like 5 weeks I think! Sometimes she takes it all sometimes she doesn’t
That's pretty standard. My 8 week old is breastfed but has 5oz every 4 hours
My baby has been on 5oz since 3 weeks old lol , ive just put her up today. She is also sleeping through the night. Thank you all xx
@Elizabeth Aneiros wow, do you produce enough? I couldn't keep up with that, I only make 28oz a day
@Emmo I mostly feed on demand but when I need to I pump about an hour and a half after feeding my son and produce between 8-9 ounces bottle it and put it in the fridge or I freeze it. Your body will produce whatever your child needs. I found my breasts refill every hour or two depending and that's when I either pump or if my child wakes up and I feed him straight away. I produce more when he cluster feeds ☺️
@Elizabeth Aneiros I don't nurse at all, so it won't adjust in the same way. Many women don't produce enough for their babies, so that is somewhat of a myth anyway.
@Emmo oh I had that same problem with my first child. My body refused to produce enough for him so I had to combi feed and then switched to full formula feeding. Everyone's body is different. You learn what your body can do and what you can do to help produce for your child if that is what people choose with every child you have. There is nothing wrong with formula feeding at all and I know how hard it is having to formula feeding when you want to breastfeed ☺️
My 10 week girl is also on 6oz every 2/3 hours during the day but she sleeps around 9 hours during the night
@Elizabeth Aneiros how often are people giving their babies these big bottles? Mine is still hungry every 2 hours. So she only has 3-4oz.
@Emmo depends on the baby and how hungry they are. With my other 2 children they were on the big bottles from around 6 weeks as they always wanted more than the amount for their age which would have been about 30-60ml per feed. My current son is on between 280-320ml it just depends on them. You can increase the amount for your child and see if they take it and then go from there
My boy has been on 6oz every 3 hours since 5 weeks old, he's now 11 weeks and almost ready to go up to 7oz bottles
We’re on about 8oz every 4 hours. But he sleeps from 8.30pm-6am without a bottle so he makes up for it during the day x
My son is 9 weeks old and he's on about 8 to 9oz of breast milk per feed 😅
