CA disability pay
Anyone have any experience with getting pregnant while on maternity leave with baby #2? I’ll only be working for 4 months before going out again and I’m wondering if I’ll still get paid. I’m in CA… and the money I see on the disability website is almost $0.

@Inna Oh that’s great. And your pay was basically the same? I was out all year with my first due to complications.
It was a bit less. I think it’s 60% of your pay if I remember correctly. It’s been 3 years since I’ve applied/received it. I’m not sure if you need “hours worked” to apply. It worked out for me but I don’t remember specifically. You can take to HR and they can help too.

I have my first in January and went back to work in July, but got pulled by my OB in the end of November bc I was high risk. Had my second in February and was still able to claim disability and maternity pay. They ended up 13 months apart 😬. I think as long as you have a job and are working you can claim. Also in California.
