Toddler attitude

I told my girl that she can’t have a chocolate yogurt unless she finishes her dinner but she wasn’t finishing her dinner so she got the dining table chair and pushed it against the fridge and climbed on the chair to try and open the fridge herself! I can’t believe her mind! Anyone else? She shocks me everyday lol!

My daughter is EXACTLY the same. Says “mummy get wine” or “mummy coffee” so I’m distracted away from what she’s doing 😂😂

Yep when I told mine no more nappies, only for bed time he went and fished them out himself and put them on! Today he made me laugh. I repeated myself, apparently and all I got back was... actually mummy we already had this conversation... 😂 Like is he 3 or 13!!

My daughter got told she couldn't have an ice-cream until her plate was empty so she got up and put her food in the bin 😭😂

@Vicky omg so my girl does this too! She quietly goes in the kitchen and puts her food in the bin if she doesn’t like it! Told her so many times it’s wrong but she doesn’t listen!

😂😂 my daughter (and consequently now my 21 month old son) has been doing that since she could walk 😩 we've got cupboard locks on everything including the fridge and freezer. If we forget to lock it, they're both wandering with ice creams or yogurts or cheese or milk! She has genuinely been doing it for over a year. She's a proper little climber so doesn't worry about the danger 😂🤦🏼‍♀️

Haha yes the teenager attitude. Of we say no to something we get 'right then, I'm leaving' 'right I'll just throw this" 🤣

Sooo.... I commented on this yesterday saying about how my daughter gets into our fridge and freezer for ice creams. Today I ended up in a&e with her and my 1yo because she pulled something up to the cupboard to stand on, managed to get into our locked medicine cupboard by reaching up and over (hard to explain) and took our her almost full bottle of multivitamins and ate them all!!! She says she gave "1, 2, 3" to her brother. So that was a fun day with 111 checking in with the poison centre, rushing them both into a&e etc etc. Thankfully all is OK and thankfully that's all she took!! Could have been so much worse!

@Charly omg this is so dangerous! I’m glad hospital said she was ok!! My daughter has 2 gummy vitamins a day and she asks for more but I refuse! She tries to get it herself but I thought the screwy top was like a child safe top. Must not be then!

@S 🤰❤️ yup, the doctor couldn't get her head around how she opened the bottle but it's because the ones we have (Boots kids multivitamins) don't have child safety lids like calpol etc! I hadn't even thought of it until this happened. She asks everyday for more than 1 and I always say no and that she can't as it'll make her poorly. But it's happened now so a good lesson for me to make everything even more secure than before.
