Antenatal appointments

I've just had a look at my badger app randomly this evening and found loads of upcoming antenatal appointments I wasn't aware of including one in 6 days. Not sure if it's normal for them not to call or send you letters to inform you of appointments. I've had letters for my scans so found this very odd. Anyway just want to inform everyone, I'm based in Poole, Dorset.

I’ve found my appointments go on badger and then there’s usually a letter to follow it up after about a week. I’d call your midwife and check some of mine have been telephone call but it doesn’t state that on the app!

From previous experience in my last pregnancy and this one, they will just add all your appointments without telling you so you better keep checking😂😂 you won’t get a letter, phone call or anything it’ll just get added honestly me and my friend joke about it all the time like it ain’t hard to send a letter😂

Also if you need information about an appointment just ring the antenatal day clinic at your hospital and ask

My midwife booked all mine in at my 16 week appointment and wrote the dates all down for me

I’ve found that my appointments have just been added for me. Ones like scans or birth options I’ve been sent a letter. I’ve not had a midwife appt since my booking & my next one is 28 weeks in December which I find really odd. I preferred getting them booked when you saw your midwife in person.
