Weaning

My LO is happily eating breakfast, fruit, packaged baby snacks, finger food like toast, eggs, pinwheels, pancakes etc for lunch. But what are you giving for dinner? He isn’t super hungry as loves his milk still but he doesn’t like pouches and ive tried bolognese, veg curry, mini burgers but he’s not keen and only has 2-3 bites. Is this ok as he just has more milk or are there any successful dinners you’ve tried?

We usually have some vegetables with chicken (puree) or greek yogurt with fruits

I made a shepherd's pie today with hidden veg. Little boy loved it. It took me most of the day to make 🙈 but I've frozen 2 extra portions in the freezer for another time. 2-3 bites is fine. He will have more when he wants it. What sort of time are you serving dinner?

My baby is similar she eats a lot more breakfast and lunch, with less milk during the day- then doesnt eat as much dinner but has a big bottle before bed. I just keep over some of what we are having and give that with some veg finger foods or melty sticks
