My baby won’t play with toys

Hi mums, my little boy is 10months old, he has so many age appropriate toys but never plays with them, he will maybe entertain some for about 5minutes then is back to wrecking lol.. he is up on his feet and is so interested in things around him which is amazing, but he would much rather try and get phones, keys, remotes, things that he isn’t allowed and pull at furniture than play with his toys. This is my first child so I’m not sure if this is normal or not, also can someone recommend other toys that your kids love that I could maybe try? Sorry for the long post I’m just a bit lost

Sounds relatively normal. My little girl prefers playing with boxes and keys 😂 a fun game we play is I stack blocks and she waits until they’re stacked then knocks them down

Maybe try toy rotation as well so he might be more interested in “new” toys every week

Definitely normal! My son plays with Tupperware, boxes, amongst other things that are not toys. ^ and I agree with sally! Rotate toys. He might like something particular

Rotate toys and games ve things that aren't toys but are safe so silicone spatulas, wisks, saucepan, tupperware ect ect

They don’t play with toys till they are about 2 years before that they rather play with you shoes or a the tv remote

My kid liked pop tubes pop its and monkey noodles at that age
