Can pregnancy change dental status?

I haven’t changed anything but recently i got a cut on the roof of my mouth snd then on the side of my gums. My mouth isn’t usually this sensitive. Could it be pregnancy related?

Yes you get sensitive gums etc during pregnancy. That’s why we get a year of free dental care after having our babies. Sucks doesn’t it !

Oh yea. Pregnancy can really change your teeth. A lot of calcium is going to the baby, so it’s getting taken away from us and our teeth. I used to work in a dental office & so many pregnant women would come in with teeth breaking who had never had issues before. When I was pregnant, my mouth became a lot more sensitive and my gums were inflamed

Yep! Literally 3 weeks after giving birth I had to go get an entire cap put in because one of my tooth’s cracked right in half. You have more blood circulating through your body so your gums/teeth are more sensitive

Oh jeez 🤦🏾‍♀️😩

Ohhhhh yeah I have braces and got gingivitis realllyyyy bad during my pregnancy
